  • What is Specialized Transportation (5310)?

    5310 specialized transportation is for the purpose of assisting private nonprofit groups in meeting the transportation needs of older adults and people with disabilities when the transportation service provided is unavailable, insufficient, or inappropriate to meeting these needs. 

  • How do I find help with transportation services?

    Contact your local mobility manager or the tranit agency directly to see if they can help

  • How much does it cost to ride transit?

    Transit fares vary throughout the state. Reduced fares may be availailable for eligible riders. Contact your local transportation provider for information or your local mobility manager. 

  • How can I get more involved?

    Are you an Oklahoma resident wanting to have your voice heard about trdansportation? Here are some ways to get involved.

    1. Submit feedback directly via contact us form
    2. Complete local and state planning surveys
    3. Participate in local transportation meetings
    4. Advocate for the importance of transit by visiting the OTA website
    5. Advocate for the importance of transportation for individuals by participating in a local coalition or committee
    6. Be a part of change by attending the local coordination planning meetings- visit page
    7. Contact your local mobility manager to see how you can become more involved.
  • How far in advance do I need to make a reservation?

    Same day reservations may be available, but it is advised to schedule at least 24 hours in advance for many transportaiton providers. 

  • How much extra time should I plan for?

    Adjust your time to allow for minor delays and navigating where to go once you reach your final destination.

  • Do you provide transportation statewide?

    Statewide transportation is available via multiple transportation providers including public transit, rail and intercity transportation. Contact your local mobility manager to coordinate statewide services.

  • What if I need to cancel my trip?

    If you need to cancel a previously scheduled trip, please give your transportation provider at least one hour notice if possible.

  • • Does mobility management pay for transportation fares?

    No, MM program does not have any funding available that can assist with fares. However, the MM

    program works with funding sources to identify new ways to fund transportation fares. Therefore, we

    do not pay for transportation but we’ll do our best to help find a way to get the funding to cover your

    transportation expenses.
